VoiceChecking for Hebrew and Greek voices…

Version

Words are spoken by this device’s own voices: Hebrew (Carmit on Apple devices) in modern Israeli pronunciation, and Greek (Melina) in modern Greek pronunciation. The stressed syllable is shown in capitals. The divine Name is never voiced: the voice says “Adonai” in its place. On screen it is rendered ADONOY. Hebrew text and grammar: original work of the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible available at github.com/openscriptures/morphhb (Westminster Leningrad Codex, public domain; morphology CC BY 4.0). Dictionary: Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary (public domain), digitised by the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible Project (CC BY 4.0), which also supplies the TWOT numbers and the shorter BDB used where no full entry was matched. Brown-Driver-Briggs, Oxford 1906 (public domain), full text digitised by Sefaria from the National Library of Israel scan. Transliterations and word glosses: STEP Bible, Tyndale House Cambridge (CC BY 4.0). English (Old Testament): The Holy Scriptures, JPS 1917 (public domain), via Sefaria. Editorial changes: the divine Name shown as ADONOY; Hebrew shown without cantillation marks. Greek New Testament: the Nestle-Aland text as tagged in TAGNT by STEP Bible, Tyndale House Cambridge (CC BY 4.0), with grammar and word glosses. Dictionary: Abbott-Smith, A Manual Greek Lexicon of the New Testament, 1922 (public domain), digitised by Translatable Exegetical Tools; Strong’s Greek Dictionary (public domain), digitised by Ulrik Petersen and Open Scriptures (CC BY-SA). English (New Testament): World Messianic Bible, British Edition (public domain), with “LORD” shown as ADONOY.
